Traditional joint movement in yog, often called Sukshma Vyayama or "subtle exercises," involves slow, deliberate movements for each joint in the body to warm up and improve mobility. 

This is a key part of traditional yoga, focusing on preparing the body for more complex postures and involving exercises for the fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders, spine, hips, ankles, and toes.
